Our adorable, sweet Border Collie Cally Lilly.. She is an A+ dog! What a beauty she is and is the most considerate dog ever.

I sure wish I could get this beautiful picture blown up.... it works before I downloaded to my site but not now.. Phooey. This is another picture of our little Village and as you can see the snow is almost gone. Maybe I will get in touch with Howard our friend who took this picture and see if he can teach me how to transfer these properly.... Will check back soon.

Our weather report is close to 70* this weekend which sounds wonderful, even though our friends in AZ and FL say it is closer to 80* Oh well, we all are enjoying Mother Nature's changing seasons.

For those of you who have never been to Quartzsite, AZ you must visit the the legendary READER'S OASIS book store owned by "Sweet Pie"!! One guess which one he is!

Also in picture is Heather, Tim her hubby and their 2 sons... my dear and long time friend Kareen is Heather's mother.

Back in 2006 when Al and I first met "Sweet Pie" they spent time Talkin' the Blues and swapped CD's. He is the main reason that the Chip & Dale's are allowed to perform as they do. "Sweet Pie" also performed as he looks in the above picture and years ago went to the Supreme Court to fight for this right and he won!!!

Our friend and neighbor, Howard, hiked some of the logging roads surrounding our little village and took this picture. He said it was OK that I added this to my blog. We still have snow in the mountains, the deer and elk inhabit these timberlands and at night the coyotes howl. This is a little bit of heaven on earth.

Thinking about my wonderful mother today ~ she was the very BEST!
