OOPS ~ all the blackberry berries didn't show on this picture....this bush was covered with unripe berries and white flowers that turn into berries. YUM!! Al's music hero John Cephas (and Phil Wiggins) who live on the East Coast were staying at our house in Vancouver, WA and I will never forget John's comment... "gee, Al I have been trying to get these blackberries to grow at my house for years and can't seem to get that to happen...how do you get them to grow?" It was hard to tell him that they are really considered weeds out here and we can't get rid of them!!!!!!!!!!!!
