The week before we left for our venture to Mt. Rainier, Allan's adorable cousin, Sue and her absolutely fantastic hubby, Wes, came for a one night visit. They came from their home outside Sacramento, California (I think to escape the smokey air from all the California fires), on their way to a really terrific vacation up to the Canadian wilderness with the hopes to see a Grizzly Bear or two. (they have e-mailed us to let us know that they have seen lots of Bear including Grizzly's).

I feel so lucky to have cousin-in-law's like the two of them. Can't get any better!
