CAREK'S MEAT MARKET
has been in business since 1913 when Mrs. Carek's husband opened it. They built this building in 1922, her husband passed away a number of years ago and she has been smoking meats for over 50 years at this same location.
We left with smoked German sausage, smoked "walking stick" which is another German sausage usually eaten as one is walking, Bacon, and other yummy smoked meats. Al has been buying meat from this market ever since he has been going to Roslyn.
