THIS IS OUR "NICE FLAGGER". I'm so glad I am not afraid to ask questions of strangers! See below...

We noticed this little white dot on top of this ledge. Thank goodness, down the road, we were stopped for road work. I had to ask the "nice flagger" if he knew what that white thing was and he told us it is a University of Washington Observatory!!!!

How they ever got that way up there, who knows

and super happy that the flagger knew the answer.

This whole area is by far absolutely gorgeous.
