One of roadside coffee stops we stopped at was across the street from the "Big Pink" old Kona Hotel. Al loves old hotel's and found out this hotel ONLY charges $30.00 for a single bed, $35.00 for a double bed and $40.00 for 2 twin beds!!!!Bless his heart, he is always looking for a 'good deal' but this was a bit too much for me... the main reason is that the customers have to 'walk a plank' to get to the outside bathroom. Now I am up to trying most anything but this was just too rustic. The rooster is just one of the hundred's that live in Hawaii that we have to deal with.
