Eastern Washington is known for vegetables and fruit....

Walla Walla Onions, Washington Apples, Washington Peaches, and something called Yakima Fruit Bowl. We drove by fruit stands after fruit stands... Too bad we were about one month too late for the sweet Walla Walla Onions...and a bit too late for the asparagus which is fabulous.
