This is where it all happens ~ the Main Stage for the KING BISCUIT BLUES FESTIVAL in Helena, Arkansas during 3 days in October. During the whole festival the levy in the back will be filled with people....lots of Blues Fans come from all over the World to see this FREE Blues Festival which continues to grow each year. Al was fortunate enough to be asked to perform last year (2006) which was an answer to a life long dream for him.
There are about 7 different stages ~ Al's stage was in the downtown area with about 4 other stages. With the amount of Blues fans, performers and vendors the stages were scattered around town for crowd control and noise control...as up to 7 performers or bands were playing at the same time...
WOW was the town a hoppin'.
We got there 2 days early to find a place to park our 5th wheel and the weather was fantastic the whole 5 days we were there. It was truly an experience I will never forget...
