Right up the road is our town lake, home to ducks, geese, lots of fish, eagles, a muskrat, and birds, birds, birds and more birds and all surrounded by acres and acres of timberland.
It is great to live in a rural area where it feels
like time stood still and it is so peaceful here.
Last week while we were sitting on the banks of the lake and a bald eagle flew about 20 feet over our heads. What a thrill that was.
